CRYING IS IMPORTANT

Many people perceive crying as weakness. In fact we Indians say that boys don’t cry and if you are a boy and you are seen crying then your character is questioned and you are judged for lifetime.

Apparently, this is a big mistake because confronting your emotions gives a lot of strength even though it’s a type of vulnerability.
If you feel like crying then don’t hold back because:

       1) Crying cleanses your eyes- tears lubricate your eyeball and eyelid which helps to see well.
       2) Crying fights cold- tears helps to fight disease causing pathogens.

 3) Emotional tears eliminates toxins

These are some scientific reasons stating the importance of shedding tears.
But what I think is that crying is amazing.
I think we underestimate the power of producing tears.
We are told that emotionally strong people don’t cry. But in my opinion emotionally strong means to know how to deal with things and when you deal with things your body start to react and that’s absolutely normal. And in order to avoid crying people start to avoid dealing with things since they are afraid of crying and of expressing their emotions and they gradually end up resulting in throwing all these things back in their head. But I think avoiding crying is cowardice.
Do you know how therapeutic it is to cry your feelings out?
I cry when I’m angry.
If I’m proud then I cry.
If I am sad I cry.
I am very emotionally active and I don’t feel bad about it.
We are humans and we are designed with feelings and the ability to address those feelings.
I think crying is equally important as urinating. You can’t hold back urine?
Right?
In the same way let yours tears shed.
Please talk about your feelings. Please feel okay with your body wanting to react a certain way.
If you are afraid or embarrassed of crying in front of others then come home and sit in front of mirror and talk to yourself.
Just come to terms with your problems and try to address what you feel.

Body Shaming! WHY?

BODY SHAMING! WHY?   Firstly what is body shaming. Let me define it briefly for those who don’t know what body shaming really is. Body shaming is make fun of anyone’s appearance or humiliating anyone based on their physicality. Why is it practised? I have an answer to this question. We do body shaming just for fun. Ever since our childhood we give our friends or classmates a title corresponding to their colour or shape. Body shammers think it is entertainment but sorry it isn’t. I have been a victim of being body shammed a lot of times just for having a dark complexion and you know what I used to do I used to feel so bad thinking about why that person called me so and I used to wish to get a fairer skin but now tables have turned   I am proud of my complexion. See we can’t choose our body, if everyone had an opportunity to choose then obviously all of us would have chosen a fairer and muscular sort of a body but now I understood that “It does not matt...

Being a human it is so depressing for me to read all these news articles published reflecting the stats of no. of deaths and people suffering and all that.
