KERALA FLOODS:                 A NATIONAL DISASTER \                    I think all of us are aware of the problem that Kerala is facing right now. Being a human it is so depressing for me to read all these news articles published reflecting the stats of no. of deaths and people suffering and all that. When I came to know all this I started searching the reasons of this natural calamity and I came to know that there are a lot of reasons behind this disaster. These flood alerts has been made in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka as well. See why do floods happen is something very subjective and I think we all have read about these things in our primary classes so what now. I will be discussing the factors that lead to Kerala flood disaster according to my study:     1 )    Increasing Rainfall –   Kerala faces flood issues every year but this time the rainfall has increased by 37.5% (approx.) and in regions like Idukki it has increased by 83%. BODY SHAMING! WHY?   Firstly what is body shaming. Let me define it briefly for those who don’t know what body shaming really is. Body shaming is make fun of anyone’s appearance or humiliating anyone based on their physicality. Why is it practised? I have an answer to this question. We do body shaming just for fun. Ever since our childhood we give our friends or classmates a title corresponding to their colour or shape. Body shammers think it is entertainment but sorry it isn’t. I have been a victim of being body shammed a lot of times just for having a dark complexion and you know what I used to do I used to feel so bad thinking about why that person called me so and I used to wish to get a fairer skin but now tables have turned   I am proud of my complexion.
